Meet The Team:

Mike Kortas, CEO

Mike Kortas is the Chief Executive Officer of
NEXA Mortgage. Mike has more than 20 years of
mortgage experience and has served multiple
roles from Loan Originator, Team Leader, Branch
Manager, Regional Manager and Vice President
in previous positions.

NEXA Mortgage was founded in 2017 by Mike Kortas as a co-founder, with the single goal of becoming the best place for all Independent Loan Officers to work at. Under Mike's leadership the company has grown to be the #1 Mortgage Broker in only 3 years time and is on pace to be the largest mortgage company serving Independent Loan Officers.

Before serving the Loan Officers of NEXA Mortgage, Mike has been recognized as a top Loan Originator with volume that places him within the Top 1% nationwide. Building teams and other company ventures is something that Mike has excelled at.

Mike currently resides in Arizona with his wife and 3 children.

Mathew Grella

Mathew Grella

Mat Grella is a licensed mortgage loan
originator and the VP of Sales/Co-founder and
Principal Partner of NEXA Mortgage. Mat has an
extensive background in sales and marketing
and has been responsible for NEXA's growth in
the Phoenix Market.

Prior to entering into the mortgage industry Mat was an accomplished and successful sales and business manager. He and his team were consistently recognized as top performers in their industry. As a leading consultant in the sales industry he prides himself on delivering accurate and trustworthy advice to his clients. Mat has extensive knowledge of the local down payment assistance programs here in Phoenix, specifically, Maricopa Home in Five and the Home Plus conventional and FHA versions, as wells as FHA, VA, USDA, Conventional, and JUMBO programs.
